1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how NORD FERON OÜ ("Workara", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on workara.eu and in the Workara web application. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies let the site remember information about your visit — for example, your preferred language or that you're logged in. Some cookies expire when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).
"Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, and similar mechanisms used by modern web applications. We use a small amount of localStorage on the marketing site to remember your language and cookie consent.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary Always on
These are essential for the site and app to work. They cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, like logging in or filling a form. No consent is required under GDPR for these.
Functional With consent
These remember your preferences (such as language) to improve your experience. We currently use one functional item — a localStorage entry remembering your chosen interface language so you don't have to pick it on every visit.
Analytics With consent
We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies on the marketing site. If we add analytics in the future (for example to understand which features are most useful), we will update this policy and require fresh consent before any analytics cookies are set.
Marketing / advertising Not used
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not display ads. We do not allow third parties to use our site to track you across the web.

Note: The cookies above are all first-party (set by Workara). We do not currently use any third-party cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising on workara.eu.
5. How to manage cookies
5.1 Through our cookie banner
When you first visit workara.eu, you see a banner offering "Accept all" or "Reject non-essential". Your choice is stored as workara_cookies in your browser's localStorage. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for workara.eu — the banner will reappear on your next visit.
5.2 Through your browser
You can also control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Workara application — for example, you may not be able to stay logged in.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. If we add a new category of cookie (for example, analytics), we will refresh consent before setting it.
